Stainless Steel-Match-Grade Bushing Included

Made from a one-piece, 17-4 stainless steel forging, beautifully finished to help you achieve the finest in accuracy. Matching stainless steel bushing supplied. Barrel and bushing are left slightly oversized at lockup areas to allow precise final fitting. Chamber requires finish reaming. Hardened to Rc 40.

SPECS: Machined 17-4 stainless steel, heat treated Rc 40. Fits 1911 Auto. All require finish chambering and gunsmith fitting. .45 ACP models are non-ramped and available in 31⁄2" (8.8cm) Officers ACP, 4.25" (10.7cm) Commander, and 5" (12.7cm) Govt./Gold Cup.

Great barrel (27.10.2013)

I bought this for a custom long slide build. Curiously, the barrel did not require any fitting of the locking lugs at all, just link pin lug and barrel hood fitting. Accuracy of the finished product has been excellent.

My only complaints are that Wilson failed to polish the underside of the chamber area, which they did do for the 5" 45 ACP barrel in my other 1911. Also, the caliber designation is painted on, not stamped. As a result, it has begun to rub off a little.

Be warned that you will have to ream the ID and turn down the OD of the included bushing.

I CAN SHOOT NOW! (05.04.2011)

I target shoot every weekend, now I can reliably put 5 out of 6 in the quarter size bulls eye at 7 yards. This a beautiful Barrel. My Gunsmith had to finish fit the chamber after all, and it cost me extra to have it installed. But with my accurizing
job and this new Match Barrel, I can't miss!

The Best Investment I Ever Made! (20.11.2011)

I Own a Springfield Amory 5" 1911, it has always been a pretty accurate gun. But After My Gunsmith Installed my Wilson Combat Match Barrel/Bushing for me I've found the Bullets hit Exactly where I'm Aiming. The Gun is more Accurate than I am now. All I have to do now is Remember all the Basics and the Shot is there. Now I impress everyone at the Range More than Ever. If I could just do it in the Actual Matches I'd be Famous!

Exactly what I needed (03.06.2015)

Bought this barrel to use in a class I was taking on tuning up the 1911. While it did require fitting, I don't consider that a con. After all the measuring, filing and polishing was done I've got a very good shooting barrel that fits perfectly in my 1911. Will definitely order another should the need arise.

Outstanding Product (19.07.2011)

Workmanship and finish were perfect. More importantly, there was sufficient material on the top and bottom lugs, and the hood, to fit with 100 % lockup. The bushing is already fitted to the barrel, but needs to be fitted to the slide. This barrel will require extensive fitting, so don't purchase if you want a drop-in barrel.

Great Barrel (23.11.2011)

Not that an Officers Model needs a match grade barrel but I long ago Magna-Ported my Officers Model back in the mid 1980's and soon came to regret it with the excessive fouling and carbon buildup. Wilson was the first quality manufacturer to offer a 3.5" barrel so I bought one. Required fitting of hood, upper and lower lugs as expected and I fit it tight, I was impressed with the accuracy from a short barreled 45 especially with the ammo and powders available. I still carry this gun some 25 years later.
