The Magnesium Hyper-Light KeyMod Handguard from V Seven Weapon Systems is constructed with blend of aluminum and magnesium alloys, resulting in a 30% weight reduction over ordinary all-aluminum handguards. V Seven uses a plasma deposition finishing process that gives each Magnesium Hyper-Light KeyMod Handguard a tough, ceramic-like coating with wear resistance far superior to traditional anodizing. The weight-saving extends to the included barrel nut, which is machined from 7068 aluminum alloy that’s light yet does not sacrifice strength. Light, light, LIGHT! 15" handguard weight only 5.4 oz. Slim: 1.5" O.D. (1.3" I.D.)
