A Combination of Scorpion Features With Ruger's Push-Button Takedown
One of the most popular rimfire target pistols on the market is the Ruger Mark Series, and the Ruger Mark IV made the gun even better with a simple, push-button takedown system that eased cleaning and maintenance. Volquartsen incorporated this innovative design into its wildly accurate line of Scorpion 22 LR Target pistols, creating the new Mk IV Frame Black Mamba pistol. The heart of the Volquartsen Mk IV Frame Black Mamba target pistol is the LLV Competition Upper added to the gun. The upper can be had with either a 4.5- or a 6-inch barrel, and it's built with a stainless-steel barrel complete with stainless-steel breech, all housed inside a durable, attractive aluminum shroud. The shroud includes a Picatinny rail at the top and bottom for accessories or optics, and three different color options are available. Barrel length: 4.5 inches Overall length: 6.5 inches Weight: 1.6 pounds Magazine capacity: 10 rounds Other features found on the Volquartsen Mk IV Frame Black Mamba target pistol include a single-port compensator installed on the barrel's threaded muzzle, an Accurizing Kit that reduces trigger pull to 2.2 pounds, and Hi-Viz front and rear target sights.
