Cushions Slide Impact For Less Wear & Reduced Felt Recoil

Polyurethane buffer cushions the impact of the slide against the frame during recoil, resulting in less wear to the gun, less fatigue on the hand and arm, and less muzzle rise. Reduces felt recoil so you can get back on target quickly for faster, more accurate follow-up shots. Each buffer is precision CNC cut from a sheet of ultra-tough, tear-resistant polyurethane. Drop-in installation without any permanent alteration to the firearm.

Less wear and just as reliable. (15.02.2010)

I have two of these installed in different Beretta 92 models, one on a plastic guide rod and the other metal. I am nearing a thousand rounds on one and have not had any failures at all. These protect your frame from being battered by the slide and should in theory greatly increase the life of your pistol. Even if you are heistant to use them on a defensive pistol, they are so easy to install it can be put in for every range session.

It installed very easily, self centered and takes the 'slam' of metal on metal out of the action noticably. Even when hand cycling!

The buffer moves along the guide rod, it doesn't stay put. You'll notice a positive difference when cycling the receiver, you won't feel metal on metal. But if the piece fails (breaks) during the firing process what'll happen?

It requires a bit of extra care when field stripping and reassembling to make sure it goes in correctly, but once installed it definitely reduces the metal on metal impact, cycles fine, and seems like a great idea to lengthen the life of your pistol. Thousands of rounds fired no issues.
