Drop-On Comp Makes The Mighty M1 Easier & More Comfortable To Shoot

Dual chamber compensator greatly diminishes muzzle lift and felt recoil without changing the balance or feel of the rifle. A great device for introducing younger shooters to the M1 Garand. Easy to install, simply remove the gas cylinder lock and replace with this brake. Requires no permanent alterations to your prized rifle. Not legal for service rifle matches.

SPECS: Machined steel, manganese phosphate finish. 2½" (6.3cm) long, .848" (21mm) diameter, 4.3 oz. (124 g) wt.

Un grande dispositivo per introdurre più giovani tiratori per il M1 Garand. Facile da installare, basta rimuovere la serratura di cilindro del gas e sostituire con questo freno. Non richiede nessun alterazioni permanente al vostro fucile pregiato. Non è legale per partite del fucile di servizio.

Must for M1 Rifle (09.06.2010)

I got my M1 muzzle brake last weeek and
installd it in five minutes. It's very
easy and is a great fit. It looks great
too. I took it to the range yesterday
and it performed very well. I don't know
exactly how much recoil it reduced but
it made my M1 a lot easier on my shoulder
and kept the muzzle down considerably. I
highly reccomend it.

Simple installation & Totally effective (21.01.2011)

I have put this item on every one of my Garands plus on Garands of two other friends. They both agree with me that it makes shoot this great battle rifle even more fun than before. It's a great addition for a fair price!!

Works better than you can imagine (21.12.2011)

Installs in all of two minutes, and tames the M1 Garand recoil down by a good 80%. Have installed on 2 M1's, soon to be 3, plus recommended to a friend who has installed. Single best thing you can do to make the M1 more fun to shoot.

Easy to use & nice but a bit expensive (07.12.2013)

Relatively easy to install but just like most M1 Garand attachments that replace the gas cylinder lock, you are unable to use a standard "Gas Cylinder Wrench" which prevents damage to the barrel splines. I honestly didn't notice more than a slight reduction in felt recoil or muzzle rise. However it was ~32F', windy, and thus quite uncomfortable when I tried it so this may not be a fair assessment.

Great Accessory! (04.11.2015)

Purchased this for my 2,603,XXX Springfield M1 Garand, and was worth every penny! It helps tame the M1's recoil quite nicely, and makes it much easier to shoot longer sessions with. You do have an increase in noise, as is the case with some muzzle brakes, but the benefit of being able to get back on target faster outweighs the added noise. My next Garand will undoubtedly have one as well.
