Good value but some mis-info (16.03.2016)

Barrel is easy to install and the gas block set screws are pre drilled. However the one thing that is not listed and the answers from Brownells says it is a DPMS pattern barrel extension, it is actually a Aramlite pattern which really limits your bolt carrier groups. Over all I would still but another

Great barrel (14.06.2016)

This barrel was paired with a good size muzzle break and a JP Lmos carrier and enhanced bolt with adjusted gas block. With a custom load it's shooting 3/8 in groups at 100 yards. Very nice fit and finish.

According to Christensen, DPMS pattern (24.06.2016)

I hate to contradict another reviewer, but I did call Christensen to find out what pattern the CA-10 is based off of. They tell me the barrel used in the CA-10, same one seen here, uses a DPMS LR 308 pattern barrel extension, and so then of course it should be paired with a DPMS bolt. The CA-10 also uses PMAGs, which are compatible with DPMS LR 308, so that's additional evidence that the rifle is based on that pattern, and not Armalite.

Excellent Barrel! (21.07.2016)

This barrel is absolutely Awesome! Not only does it shoot sub MOA with ball ammo, weighs a lot less than other barrels but does exactly as described by pulling heat away from the bore/chamber area. The outside heats quickly but cools just as fast, after 100 rounds of fast shooting groups were still under 2 MOA at 100 yards. To avoid any confusion, it IS DPMS pattern, NOT Armalite...

Used this in a light weight battle rifle build, its a bull profile barrel that only weighs 2.3 pounds, as such, it IS amaazingly rigid, and accurate im getting half moa with military spec ball, HOWEVER it IS overgassed, use a heavy buffer
