The ATLAS S-ONE is the newest addition to the Aero Precision Handguard lineup. Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum, the S-ONE line of handguards are designed with size and weight in mind, providing the perfect handguard for your lightweight build. Aero's proprietary ATLAS attachment system is a durable and dependable mounting platform, maintaining a slim profile while still providing the strength and stability customers have grown to love from Aero Precision handguards. Actual Handguard Lengths: 7.3", 9.3", 10.3", 12.7", 15" -- Aero Precision rail lengths measure from end to end. This is the point of contact at the receiver to the end of the last picatinny slot at the muzzle. Available in M-LOK profiles with 7.3", 9.3", 10.3", 12.7" and 14.94 (Actual Length 15") options. ATLAS The new Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It features 2 mirrored tapered locking nuts that provide evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut with use of a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design while providing positive registration during installation. By design, the even pressure of the ATLAS system avoids distortion of the handguard often seen with current applications during installation. All hardware mounting parts are included with the purchase of an ATLAS Handguard. Die Längen werden von Ende zu Ende gemessen, vom Kontaktpunkt am Receiver bis zum Ende des letzten Picatinny-Slots am Mündungsende. Verfügbar in M-LOK-Profilen mit Optionen von 7.3", 9.3", 10.3", 12.7" und 14.94" (tatsächliche Länge 15").
ATLAS
Das neue Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) ist sowohl funktional als auch ästhetisch ansprechend. Es verfügt über 2 spiegelbildliche, konische Verriegelungsmuttern, die gleichmässig verteilten Druck auf eine massgeschneiderte Barrel Nut ausüben, mithilfe einer Turnbuckle-Schraube. Ein ratcheting Detent sichert das Design zusätzlich und sorgt für eine präzise Registrierung während der Installation. Durch das Design vermeidet der gleichmässige Druck des ATLAS-Systems eine Verzerrung des Handguards, die oft bei aktuellen Anwendungen während der Installation zu beobachten ist.
Alle erforderlichen Montageschrauben sind im Kauf eines ATLAS Handguards enthalten.
