Came as part of a Magpul kit, which included the buffer tube. Tube was superb, but the MOE is such a terrible fit causing a wobble and rattle that is beyond embarrasing. Nice materials and finish, but very bad design. I'm sure you'll be happy IF it fits your tube, but a total junker if it doesn't. I got the VLTOR which fitted perfectly.

I can not be anymore happier with the MAGPUL MOE Pink line. I bought it for my wife because she did not like the other pinks on the market, they look too pastel, flat and not really colorful. The MAGPUL MOE Pink line is full of color with the quality of MAGPUL.

Fits my Mil-spec lower perfect. Couldnt be more happy with this product. Does everything I want it to. Magpul is just awesome and does it for me everytime I purchase there products.

I installed the Milspec MOE stock on my Colt AR-15 and it fit very well. I then installed a Tapco Intrafuse sling system putting the short loop into the lower slot of the MOE and the long loop around the barrel under the front sight. The combination of the Milspec MOE stock and Tapco Intrafuse sling works and looks great.

A great upgrade to any AR/M4. Simple 30 second install with no tools, fit and finish are perfect and improves on any shortcomings with the traditional carbine buttstock.If you want a friction lock go with the CTR, but I don't think it is worth the extra $$$.

I just got my stock in today from Brownells, I love it!!! The look and feel of this stock is amazing for the price! I know the CTR stock has the friction lock, but as far as I am concerned this thing cant have much less movement. [...]

UPS dropped this off today! I installed this and it has a great fir and finish to it. Now if you're like me and was thinking it might be a little weak for a stock youre wrong. this thing is built for use!I know the CTR has the friction lock on it, but honestly the MOE moves so little I dont see a need for it. I am profoundly happy with this stock and advise all of you to try it out.

Really like the rubber butt plate; doesn't slip on clothing like the hard plastic versions.

I've built and used rifles with both the CTR and MOE. The mil spec MOE has a very tight fit, and costs less than 60% of what the CRT does. What do you get for your extra $35 with the CRT? The locking lever and the ability to attach QD swivels. After using both, my recommendation would be to save your $35 for something else and get the MOE.

I have put this on my Smith & Wesson MP15-22 and it works like a dream. Easy to install as it requires no tools and I personally find it is so much better than the standard issue. I would strongly recommend it.

I LOVE this stock. Works great and did not cost me $200+ works like a charm with not rattling and very solid feel to it. VERY HAPPY :)

I can't begin to tell you how much better this is over the issue M4 buttstock. This thing is SOLID. No rattling and has a removeable rubber butt plate that keeps dirt and sand out of the hollow area between the buffer tube and stock. If you don't want the rubber plate, unscrew it and press the locking tabs and you're good to go with a checkered polymer surface like an issue M4 buttstock.

Great stock option for the budgeted mind. It has a great feel and looks great. Its made tough like other Magpul products.

As in my review of the Black milspec MOE, this is the basic go-to telescoping stock for your AR carbines. I have attempted to beat this thing apart while doing the "mortar" technique for clearing a malfunction, and I was in a livid state after experiencing continual Failures To Extract with a certain manufacturer's steel-cased ammunition. The MOE held up without showing more play or rattle after my frenzied beating. The only evidence of the tirade was desert dust on the butt pad, which wiped off easily.

This is a tough stock! Once again, Magpul hits another home run for an affordable, highly functional, & superior stock to the status quo. It also looks great with other Flat Dark Earth furniture & coated receivers. It says a lot when both big name brand AR15 manufacturers & custom shops are using this as their basic telestock.

This has become the new default for basic, telescoping stocks for your AR or AR-style adjustable stock system. The material is more substantial than any previous carbine buttstock I have used. The fit to a milspec diameter extension tube is as snug as I ever need, without the rattle I've experienced on lesser designs. The color & texture compliment your black rifle builds & mods in a functional, hassle-free fashion, and is aesthetically pleasing to boot. The elastomer butt pad presents a much better stock-weld, & doesn't slip from your shoulder-even when wearing kit. All that & a bucket of affordability makes for your go-to carbine/telescoping stock. I am outfitting my best friend's carbines with this right now, if that says anything, and have several on my personal guns.

I have two M4 style rifles rigged out with this butt stock. I really like the fit and the comfort of the cheek weld. I think they are a very good improvement over the standard collapsable stock.

This is a less expensive version of the Magpul CTR stock. The difference is this one does not use the locking feature. If it has Magpul on it you can bet on it being first-class equipment.

If you're like me you are debating between the lower cost MOE and the higher cost CTR and wondering if the CTR's fancy friction lock is worth 2x the price. After installing the MOE on my carbine, I'm glad I went with the MOE instead of buying the more expensive CTR.

Most people will say a milspec buffer tube will have a 1.14" diameter, but its actually closer to if not right at 1.15" (varies between 1.147-1.150), which is also supported by the documentation included with the MOE.

The fit on my particular rifle is as close to perfect I could hope for. There is almost no side to side/twisting play in the stock, with only a small amount of forwards/backwards play once locked into position. But because the stock is such a snug fit on the receiver tube, you have to physically push/pull the stock in order to experience the forward/backward play.

This stock fits/feels much more comfortable against my shoulder that the standard collapsible carbine stock it replaced. The contour feels more natural compared with the flat buttplate of the standard collapsible stock.

Finally, the locking lever is very sturdy with no play, unlike the lever on the standard stock which was free to move/shake and make noise every time the rifle was moved. That was more of an annoyance if anything else.

If you simply MUST have the QD sling mount and the tacti-cool factor, or you're a precision shooter, then spend your money on the CTR. But if you are just looking to replace your standard collapsible carbine stock with something that is "night and day" better, please purchase the MOE.
