Iron sights have been trusted by rifle shooters for centuries, but one of the inescapable drawbacks of irons is the fact that they have to cover the target for an accurate shot. What if you could see your target while getting your sights aligned? That's exactly what the Ultradyne C4 Offset Front Sight is designed to do. Unlike traditional front-sight posts, each Ultradyne C4 Front Sight features a hole drilled through its center. To get an AR-15 on target, shooters simply have to align the hole in the front post with a compatible rear sight to form concentric rings. This innovative sighting system is part of the Dynalign technology used to form the company's "circle-within-circle" sight picture. Mounts to any MIL-STL 1913 Picatinny rail Made from combination of 4140 chrome-moly steel and 7075 aluminum Weight: 1.2 ounces Treated with salt-bath nitride finish and anodized-black finish The 45-degree offset design of the Ultradyne C4 Front Sight allows it to be used without impeding the sight picture of a mounted optic. If users want to minimize the profile of their rifle, the sight folds down when not in use.
