Introducing the newest addition to the EGW lineup: The Hunter series picatinny scope mount. EGW saw the need for a shorter, lighter, heavy duty, picatinny scope mount and this is what they came up with. After countless hours of prototyping and testing, the Hunter mount was born. Featuring: 7075 T6 aluminum for an extremely durable yet lightweight construction. Type III hardcoat anodizing protects the mount from whatever nature can throw at it. Chamfered edges provide a snag free hunt. A compact overall length sheds 15% of its weight compared to our other Heavy Duty mounts. This mount comes standard with a bevel on both sides making it ambidextrous. The bolt pattern on the Remington 700 Long Action mount fits Long Action Remington 700 rifles (example 30-06, 300 Win mag), as well as the 740 and 40x. Despite what you may have heard, the Remington 700 mount will NOT fit your Howa 1500 or Weatherby Vanguard. The bolt pattern is similar, but the remainder of the mount (ejection port, length, etc.) renders it useless on these two guns. EGW recommends measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions they have published. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. EGW's one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. They machine these in our shop using one of their machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long lasting durability. Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is sold separately). EGW recommends: 0 MOA - if shooting 0-500 yards 20 MOA - if shooting 500-1000 yards When zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, EGW recommends zeroing at 200 yards. The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA. Nuovo supporto per ottica picatinny per fucili Remington 700
Presentiamo la più recente aggiunta alla gamma EGW: il supporto per ottica picatinny della serie Hunter. EGW ha riconosciuto la necessità di un supporto per ottica picatinny più corto, leggero e resistente e questo è il risultato. Dopo innumerevoli ore di prototipazione e test, è nato il supporto Hunter.
Caratteristiche principali:
- Materiale: Alluminio 7075 T6 per una costruzione estremamente durevole e leggera.
- Trattamento: Anodizzazione dura di tipo III che protegge il supporto da qualsiasi condizione atmosferica.
- Design: Bordo smussato per una caccia senza impigli.
- Compattezza: Lunghezza complessiva ridotta che elimina il 15% del peso rispetto ad altri supporti Heavy Duty.
- Ambidestro: Viene fornito con una smussatura su entrambi i lati.
Il modello per il Remington 700 Long Action si adatta ai fucili Remington 700 Long Action (esempi: 30-06, 300 Win mag), così come ai modelli 740 e 40x. Nonostante quanto si possa aver sentito, il supporto Remington 700 NON si adatta al tuo Howa 1500 o Weatherby Vanguard. Il modello di bullone è simile, ma il resto del supporto (porta di espulsione, lunghezza, ecc.) lo rende inutilizzabile su queste due armi. EGW consiglia di misurare la distanza dei fori nel tuo ricevitore per confermare che corrisponda alle dimensioni pubblicate.
Le scanalature picatinny corrono per tutta la lunghezza del binario, offrendo flessibilità nell'installazione degli anelli per ottica e altri accessori. Il canale centrale riduce la massa complessiva del supporto e, in molti casi, non ostacolerà l'uso dei mirini in ferro di fabbrica.
I supporti per ottica a pezzo unico di EGW sono la scelta ovvia per cacciatori e tiratori tattici. Vengono lavorati nel loro laboratorio utilizzando uno dei loro centri di lavorazione. Dopo la lavorazione, i supporti vengono levigati, sabbiati e anodizzati di tipo III per una durata prolungata.
Installazione:
EGW consiglia un momento di serraggio di 20 pollici-lbs e una goccia di loctite blu (loctite venduto separatamente).
EGW consiglia:
- 0 MOA: per tiri da 0 a 500 yard
- 20 MOA: per tiri da 500 a 1000 yard
Quando si azzera il tuo fucile con un supporto da 20 MOA, EGW consiglia di azzerare a 200 yard.
