It's okay. (05.11.2013)

This stock is a very solid piece and the pistol grip is very comfortable. The problems are two fold and, for me, both detract significantly from the usefulness. The first issue is that the stock snaps together around the feed tube and barrel. The clips come apart rather easily, necessitating a secondary method of holding them together. I use athletic tape and it works very well, but really, should anyone have to do this? The other issue is that the stock is so light, it makes the gun very front heavy and awkward to carry with a sling.

Great stock for pistol grip shooters (03.12.2013)

I have had this stock on my model 60 for about 7 years and thousands of rounds. Like another reviewer said, it does make the rifle a bit front heavy. However, the weight reduction and improved ergonomics more than make up for it. I prefer a pistol-grip style stock and this one doesn't disappoint. The clip on shroud has held up on my gun, you just have to be gentle with it when installing.

I bought this stock for my marlin 60w it fit very well and everyone that has held it loves the way it feels. I bought it in bla k and painted it od green the clearcoat it. Well worth the money and I'm getting ready to buy another one.

As simple as removing the rifle assembly and trigger from the old stock and installing them with a screwdriver.

looks good, feels nice, not bad quality polymer

only real downside is the top portion that covers the barrel tends to snap off, not a big deal tho.
