An Easy Way to Level Your Optic
The human eye can't detect whether or not a scope reticle is level if the degree is off by 3 degrees or less, but if your scope is off by just 3 degrees, then you're in trouble when it comes to making in-reticle adjustments for those long-range shots. The Fix It Sticks Scope Jack Leveling Tool is designed to get your scope set up right, and it works with any 1/4-inch driver! All you have to do is mount the jack to the Picatinny rail sitting underneath your riflescope. Then turn the drive handle until the arm on the jack engaged with the flat spot underneath your windage and elevation turrets. This ensures that your scope is perfectly level, and the jack will maintain pressure on this flat spot while you tighten your rings down. In order for the Fix It Sticks Scope Jack Leveling Tool to work, you have to have a short section of Picatinny rail sitting just underneath your scope body. Depending on how much clearance is available, you might have to take off the thumb screw and clamp to slide the jack onto the mounting surface from the side. Fix It Sticks says that there must be at least 1/4 inch of clearance to use the jack.
