Improves Target Visualization

Light gathering, polymer rod works in low light as well as bright to provide an easy-to-see, fast-pointing dot. Four colored rods let you change sights to fit shooting conditions. Locating fingers on each end center the sight on your rib; two strong magnets prevent movement.

SPECS: Base - Plastic, black. Rods - Polymer, red, green, yellow, orange. .170" (4.3mm) diameter sighting dot. M-300 - fits ribs 7⁄32" (5.5mm) to 5⁄16" (8.2mm) wide. M-400 - Fits ribs 5⁄16" (8.2mm) to 7⁄16" (11.3mm) wide.

Absolute necessity (19.08.2010)

Whether shooting recreationally, competitively or for hunting these sights are great. They show up in poor lighting conditions, reduce eye-dominance problems and improve scores.
Use a drop of glue on the muzzle side of the colored optic or IT WILL FALL OUT!!! The unit glues onto the rib and is fairly durable.
It takes five minutes to put the unit on the rib. Take the time and measure the rib because there are different ribs and (obviously) will not interchange between different brands or rib widths.

Good product but with conditions (21.12.2016)

Product touts that there are magnets which hold this in place. Obviously, this requires a ferrous metal on your shotgun rib. Many newer gun sight ribs are made w/ aluminum or magnesium to reduce the weight but which will NOT hold the magnets. I had to secure mine to my front sight area w/ a twist tie, which works, but looks rather sloppy and Rube Goldberg when applied. The small clips on the side of the HIVIZ are too flimsy to hold by themselves and it will fall off w/ the first recoil.

Gets the Job Done (17.11.2009)

Mounted this on a Winchester 1300 Defender and find it much easier to track than the bead, especially in bright light where the bead can disappear against a light berm. Easy to install, though, I reinforced it with silicone sealant-- hasn't shot loost after hundreds of shells downrange, but practice birdshot and 3" magnum buckshot.
