Bolt-on magwell funnels magazine directly into the pistol for quick reloads without fumbling or distraction. Lightweight molded polymer won’t mar, scrape, or dent, plus it protects the magwell opening from damage. Just insert into the bottom of the grip and tighten the included steel retention screw for a snug, form-fitting, grip. Separate models available for 9mm/.40 S&W.

SPECS: Molded glass-fill nylon polymer, matte black. 23⁄8" (5.8cm) long. 9mm/.40 S&W - 1.47" (37.5mm) wide. Does not fit compact or sub-compact. May require minor trimming to fit 9mm/.40 S&W models made after March 2005.

Leichtes geformtes Polymer beschädigt, kratzt oder verbeult nicht und schützt die Magwell-Öffnung vor Beschädigung. Setzen Sie es einfach in die Unterseite des Griffs ein und ziehen Sie die mitgelieferte Stahlhalteschraube fest, um einen passgenauen Griff zu erhalten. Separate Modelle für 9-mm- / .40-S & W- und .45-ACP-XDs erhältlich.

Too bad it's made out of Nylon (20.04.2011)

Mine broke after 2 or 3 matches because of a bobbled magazine change. Make no mistake, this is made of hard nylon/plastic/polymer/whatever and it can break as mine did. No warranty is mentioned at all...so buyer beware.

It was very easy to install and it did work well with the factory magazines (including the opening at the front for easy mag removal). Just a shame that it is not made of something metal-based. I only bought it because it was the only thing available in Canada.

I bought this from the maker in CA before I saw it at Brownells and installed this on my XD Tactical 5" 45 ACP Pistol in less than 5 minutes. It really helps guide fresh mags into the gun and fits the gun and mags well. I am not into Race Gun shooting but I believe this will continue to work well on my primary carry/duty gun.

Not so sure about this product (19.03.2012)

I installed one of these on a duty weapon for a friend of mine. It felt flimsy and shortly broke. I can't recommend this product.

EASY FIT MAG WELL FOR XD (28.04.2014)

I use this on my xd service 45acp works great fits great with no modifcation drop in two screws and your done.

poor fit (09.10.2012)

installed on my xd tac 9mm the tab on it didnt fit at all ended up removing it and using the screw drectly into my grip very flexable and thin felling. way better off getting a metal mag well.

serves its purpose, hole in grip (14.07.2017)

I bought this for my XD 40. It fits the hole at the bottom of the grip but does not take in the whole insert and it creates a gap I have to use a small mallet to push it. The stopper screw at the back of the magwell makes a hole in my grip. I have to put glue to hold the sides of the magwell because it creates a gap on the side. I have to put glue to in between the bottom part of the grip and the magwell to hold it in place because the screw was not able to hold the grip in place it slowly slips. I have to make some resizing of the insert of the magwell so that it will fit the bottom of the grip but despite all these it serves it purpose.

Not what expected about installation (20.02.2018)

Does not fit as expected. Had to trim a lot and still does not fit well. There is a gap at the bottom. The holding screw only makes a hole on the frame. Bit disappointed indeed.
