The BCM Mk12 barrel is machined from extra-hard 410 stainless steel that is more corrosion-resistant than the 416 stainless alloy commonly used on rifle barrels and has a tough, abrasion-resistant, anti-friction IonBond PVD finish. Bravo Company’s BCM Mk12 18" Stainless Steel Barrel comes with a 5.56 NATO match (USMC SAM-R) chamber and hand-lapped 1-8" button rifling for superb accuracy potential. M4-type feed ramps ensure the rounds make their way into that chamber consistently and reliably. Phosphate finished mil-spec low profile gas block Rifle-length gas system for gentler, reliable cycling 18" length gives a balance of compactness and additional velocity for improved long-range performance .750" O.D. at gas port Barrel extension included & installed 1/2"-28 tpi muzzle threads (muzzle device not included) The Bravo Company BCM Mk 12 18" Stainless Steel Barrel has a mid-weight profile to so it’s rigid enough to resist accuracy-compromising heat warpage but not so heavy it makes the rifle a pain to lug around!
