You can get your slide with a premium match-quality barrel, a ½"-28 tpi threaded barrel to accept a sound suppressor, or with a ported barrel that vents through a window in the top of the slide to counteract muzzle rise and help you keep the sights on the target for subsequent shots. This eliminates the need to install a bulky compensator on the muzzle, which means your new comped pistol will still fit standard holsters for the Glock® 17. These slides come fully assembled with the barrel and all the internal small parts installed, making this RMR Slide the ideal upgrade for your factory Glock® 17 Gen3 pistol or the perfect "top half" for a brand-new custom gun built on a compatible frame from another manufacturer. It features a pre-cut slot for easy, secure, low-profile mounting of a reflex red dot sight that fits the Trijicon RMR footprint. If you're not mounting a red dot at the moment, we've included a lightweight reinforced polymer cover plate to neatly fill the slot. Our RMR Slide comes with standard-height front and rear sights, which can serve as your primaries or a backup "iron" sights when paired with a red dot sight. This slide fits standard Glock® factory G17 frames and compatible aftermarket frames. The match-quality barrel is machined from premium 416R stainless steel alloy. The muzzle of the threaded barrel has standard ½"-28 tpi threads. The ported barrel has eight ports angled to provide just the right counterforce to muzzle rise. On the sides at the rear, you'll find distinctive wide, shallow cocking serrations that give excellent "purchase" to rack the slide, plus a mirrored set of serrations up front that aid in manipulating the slide to press-check the chamber. Both sets of serrations make it easy to manipulate your pistol's slide from any angle and in any position. Hey, we have to admit these serrations just look very cool, too! Jeder RMR Slide für Glock® beginnt als Billet aus 416 Edelstahl, das nach den Glock®-Fabrik-Spezifikationen bearbeitet wird, mit einer robusten, extrem verschleissfesten schwarzen Nitride-Oberfläche.
