The AFTERBURNER™ compensator is machined from stainless steel and the RAMJET™ barrel from hardened 416R SS; both are enhanced with a Radianite™ coating. This combination achieves low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance, making overall durability and erosion from muzzle blast a non-issue. Angled front faces on the AFTERBURNER aid in holstering. The INTRA-LOK® mounting system uses the taper lock principle; a tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel. This perfectly times the compensator as it locks down onto the upper barrel profile on the muzzle end of the barrel. INTRA-LOK® allows the user to simply slide the compensator over the barrel, insert and tighten the locking screw, making for a simple and repeatable installation process. This system allows the user to easily remove the barrel from the slide for cleaning. Produktbeschreibung
Der AFTERBURNER™ Kompensator ist aus rostfreiem Stahl gefertigt, während der RAMJET™ Lauf aus gehärtetem 416R SS besteht; beide sind mit einer Radianite™ Beschichtung versehen. Diese Kombination sorgt für geringe Reibung, hohe Härte und hohe Korrosionsbeständigkeit, wodurch die Gesamtdauerhaftigkeit und die Erosion durch Mündungsfeuer kein Problem darstellen.
Die geneigten Vorderflächen des AFTERBURNER erleichtern das Holstern.
Das INTRA-LOK® Montagesystem verwendet das Prinzip der Kegelverriegelung; eine konische Schraube greift in eine geneigte V-Nut an der Unterseite des Laufs. Dies synchronisiert den Kompensator perfekt, während er auf das obere Laufprofil am Mündungsende des Laufs verriegelt.
INTRA-LOK® ermöglicht es dem Benutzer, den Kompensator einfach über den Lauf zu schieben, die Verriegelungsschraube einzuführen und festzuziehen, was einen einfachen und wiederholbaren Installationsprozess ermöglicht. Dieses System erlaubt es dem Benutzer, den Lauf einfach aus dem Schlitten zur Reinigung zu entfernen.
