The threadless barrel design allows effortless installation/removal for cleaning, while LEGAL FOR SALE IN ALL 50 STATES*. The AFTERBURNER™ compensator is machined from stainless steel and the RAMJET™ barrel from hardened 416R SS; both are enhanced with a Radianite™ coating. This combination achieves low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance, making overall durability and erosion from muzzle blast a non-issue. Angled front faces on the AFTERBURNER aid in holstering. The INTRA-LOK® mounting system uses the taper lock principle; a tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel. This perfectly times the compensator as it locks down onto the upper barrel profile on the muzzle end of the barrel. INTRA-LOK® allows the user to simply slide the compensator over the barrel, insert and tighten the locking screw, making for a simple and repeatable installation process. This system allows the user to easily remove the barrel from the slide for cleaning. Installed onto a Glock™ G19™, the AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ combo increases the overall length of the slide to a G17® allowing compatibility with all G17® holsters. Der AFTERBURNER™ Kompensator ist aus rostfreiem Stahl gefertigt, während der RAMJET™ Lauf aus gehärtetem 416R SS besteht; beide sind mit einer Radianite™ Beschichtung verbessert. Das INTRA-LOK® Montagesystem verwendet das Taper-Lock-Prinzip; eine konisch zulaufende Schraube verbindet sich mit einer schrägen V-Rille an der Unterseite des Laufs. Dies synchronisiert den Kompensator perfekt, während er auf das obere Laufprofil am Mündungsende des Laufs verriegelt.
Mit INTRA-LOK® kann der Benutzer den Kompensator einfach über den Lauf schieben, die Schraube einsetzen und anziehen, was einen einfachen und wiederholbaren Installationsprozess ermöglicht. Dieses System ermöglicht es dem Benutzer, den Lauf einfach vom Schlitten zur Reinigung zu entfernen.
Installiert auf einer Glock™ G19™, erhöht die AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ Kombination die Gesamtlänge des Schlittens auf eine G17®, was die Kompatibilität mit allen G17® Holstern ermöglicht.
