Angled front faces on the AFTERBURNER aid in holstering. The INTRA-LOK® mounting system uses the taper lock principle; a tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel. This perfectly times the compensator as it locks down onto the upper barrel profile on the muzzle end of the barrel. INTRA-LOK® allows the user to simply slide the compensator over the barrel, insert and tighten the locking screw, making for a simple and repeatable installation process. This system allows the user to easily remove the barrel from the slide for cleaning. Installed onto a Glock™ G19™, the AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ combo increases the overall length of the slide to a G17® allowing compatibility with all G17® holsters. Produktbeschreibung
Der AFTERBURNER™ Kompensator wird aus rostfreiem Stahl gefertigt, während der RAMJET™ Lauf aus gehärtetem 416R Edelstahl besteht; beide sind mit einer Radianite™ Beschichtung versehen. Diese Kombination sorgt für geringe Reibung, hohe Härte und hervorragende Korrosionsbeständigkeit, was die Langlebigkeit und den Verschleiss durch Mündungsfeuer erheblich verbessert.
Die schrägen Vorderseiten des AFTERBURNER erleichtern das Holstern. Das INTRA-LOK® Montagesystem nutzt das Prinzip der konischen Verriegelung: Eine konisch geformte Schraube verbindet sich mit einer schrägen V-Nut auf der Unterseite des Laufs. Dadurch wird der Kompensator perfekt auf das obere Laufprofil am Mündungsende abgestimmt.
Mit INTRA-LOK® kannst du den Kompensator einfach über den Lauf schieben, die Verriegelungsschraube einsetzen und festziehen, was eine einfache und wiederholbare Installation ermöglicht. Dieses System erlaubt es dir, den Lauf mühelos vom Schlitten zu entfernen, um ihn zu reinigen.
Wenn das AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ Set auf einem GLOCK™ G19™ installiert ist, erhöht sich die Gesamtlänge des Schlittens auf die eines G17®, sodass es mit allen G17® Holstern kompatibel ist. Dieses Kombi-Kit ist geeignet für: GLOCK™ G19 GEN3 (oder kompatibel).
