I bought this pistol grip as a replacement for the one on my Canadian issue C7 service rifle. It was used on deployment in Afghanistan as well as many months of training and hours on the range.

First, the good:

This grip represents great value and you get the expected Magpul fit and quality. Obviously, it was a very easy install. I especially appreciated the extended 'beavertail' that really allowed me to the web of my pistol hand up for better positive control. Overall, the grip fits and works well for those with smaller hands.

Now the bad:

For me personally, I felt the grip didn't not offer enough 'grip' ironically enough. I found the texture to be too fine and subtle. This problem was most noticeable while wearing gloves (several types of tac gloves as well as Mechanix) or with sweaty hands. I find myself regularly applying strips of grip tape to this pistol grip to remedy it's one noticeable shortfall. That's why I had to give it a 3 out of 5, coupled with the somewhat cheesy bottom cover which I rarely use anyway.

I have used the square grip on my Oly AR for years. It left a gap by the trigger guard, and was generally uncomfortable. The Magpul MOE grip is everything my old OEM part wasn't. Excellent fit, high quality construction, easy install, and extremely comfortable for my hand.

This is an easy install grip. It fits tight onto the lower, and is a sturdy little grip. It fits extremely nice in my hand for a comfortable shoot all day long.

I'm used to the standard grip but wanted something that looked and performed well. This fit perfectly. Not crazy about the bottom piece but it stays in and looks good. Probably won't use that aspect but installs easily. Great feel and buy

extremely tight fitting onto my receiver, bottom cover is snug and does not rattle. the handle texture is not painful to hold onto all day but is also very solid in my hands. does not interfere with ambi or left hand style safeties. i have small hands and they feel right at home on this grip.

I put this on my TKS receiver, fits well, looks good, and works great.

It took all of 2 minutes to install this grip on my DPMS lower. It is rock solid and fits my hand very well. I would recommend this grip to anyone.

Looked at a lot of replacement Grips for the OEM AR 15 grips for my Stag Arms and Colt M4's...Finally decided to buy the Magpul MOE Grips and am very satisifed with them.Only complaint would be that the Grip 'cap' is pretty cheesy, particularly the Insert Caps(I bought the MIAD inserts for 2 123 Batteries...makes getting to the batteries a rather time consuming event if you needed them in a hurry!.Weakest part of the Grip is the Cap which as a pistol grip perfoms beautifully.Excpet for the Grip/Insert Cap,which does work well by the way to hold spares, the grip itself is Excellent and feels great in my hand.
For the money, there is nothing better at 3X the price!

The feel and overall rigidity of this pistol grip is superb, better than some twice its price, but the storage cap is a tad difficult to get off for my taste.

As with all Magpul products no disappointment. The only issue I had is the supplied screw would not work, no problem I just used the factory one.

After trying 8 different grips on my Robinson XCR to find the one I like best, this grip beat them all. Price was no object; I wanted the best grip. The MOE put my hand in the best position to control the rifle and the trigger. Don't let the price fool you, this grip is made with uncompromising quality. I love it.

Only four stars because I had to trim to fit my RRA.

It's cheap. It's better than the A2 grip. It's like a medium sized MIAD. It's OD! I didn't like the rattle so I put some electrical tape around the insert. That fixed it right up. My favorite grip pattern thus far. Thanks MAGPUL.

great fit, rock solid grip surface, non slip for sure. cover for base is a little sloppy, but a rag and a small tube of oil for a field kit, solved the rattle. dont wait, upgrade your ar now.

didn't like the fit and feel of the standard ar pistol grip, so I explored this option when building my own. the polymer construction seems very sturdy, not cheap and brittle like a lot of others. the grip fits the hand great, the texture doesn't slip on sweaty palms, and as great as it is, it's a lot cheaper than a lot of inferior products. also I think it looks a lot cleaner than the standard grips. Keep up the great work magpul.

I have been very pleased with all the Magpul products I have purchased, and decided to install this grip on my AR. It is more comfortable than the stock grip that came with my AR. It is a bit thinner, and fits my average sized hands much better. I also like the fact that it has an internal compartment for holding misc. items (might as well put that void to good use).

It was easy to install.

i like the way this grip feels and fits in my hand. i got one for my AR rifle, and i like it so much i ordered another one for my AR pistol.

Does not fit the AR10 (7.62) I wish I would have known this before my order! You must use the MIAD with a MIAD wedge. Had to order from Magpul to get ODG.

The single biggest feature of this grip that I like is extended coverage for the web of the hand. It allows the weight of the rifle to be supported without a tight grip. And I'll be honest, I like the available colors. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I would like to see it have a more aggressive grip pattern.

This grip is an excellent value, more comfortable than the standard grip, and has a storage space.

PRO: Fits great and is very comfortable.

CON: The storage cap rattles a bit.
