When Lone Wolf first launched the original Timberwolf frame, one of the first questions was “when will it be available in .45 ACP or 10mm?” That time is now, because they’ve revamped and upgraded the design to bring you the Timberwolf Large. The first thing you’ll notice is that the TWL fits in your hand like a much smaller pistol - in fact we measured the grip circumference of the most popular factory 9mm service pistol, and the Timberwolf Large was only .007" larger. That’s only the width of a couple of human hairs, giving you real .45 ACP or 10mm firepower in a 9mm sized package. The grip length accept G20/G21 Gen3 and Gen4 slides, as well as G40 slides. The TWL uses G20/G21 magazines. When using a Gen4 slide you simply remove the installed adapter in the dust cover area of the frame. Using Gen3 slides you leave the adapter in place to fill the gap between the slide and dust cover. The Timberwolf Large is available in multiple configurations, all of which include the dust cover adapter, removable magazine well, and interchangeable backstraps. (TWL & TWF backstraps are interchangeable) No matter what your shooting goal is, the Timberwolf Large will fit your needs. Lorsque Lone Wolf a lancé le cadre original Timberwolf, l'une des premières questions était : « Quand sera-t-il disponible en .45 ACP ou 10mm ? » Ce moment est enfin arrivé, car ils ont révisé et amélioré le design pour te présenter le Timberwolf Large.
La première chose que tu remarqueras, c'est que le TWL tient dans ta main comme un pistolet beaucoup plus petit - en fait, nous avons mesuré le tour de poignet du pistolet de service 9mm le plus populaire, et le Timberwolf Large n'était que de .007" plus large. C'est seulement la largeur de quelques cheveux humains, te donnant un véritable pouvoir de feu .45 ACP ou 10mm dans un format de 9mm.
La longueur de la poignée accepte les glissières G20/G21 Gen3 et Gen4, ainsi que les glissières G40. Le TWL utilise des chargeurs G20/G21. En utilisant une glissière Gen4, il te suffit de retirer l'adaptateur installé dans la zone de la couverture de la poussière du cadre. En utilisant des glissières Gen3, tu laisses l'adaptateur en place pour combler l'espace entre la glissière et la couverture de la poussière.
Le Timberwolf Large est disponible en plusieurs configurations, toutes incluant l'adaptateur de couverture de poussière, un puits de chargeur amovible et des dos interchangeables. (Les dos TWL et TWF sont interchangeables)
Peu importe ton objectif de tir, le Timberwolf Large répondra à tes besoins. Lorsque tu changes la direction du mag catch, tu dois RETIRER le ressort du mag catch, ne te contente pas de forcer le ressort autour du mag catch, cela pourrait endommager le cadre.
Non compatible avec les glissières G41
Ne fonctionne pas avec les sécurités de déclenchement SiderLock
