Another superb aftermarket barrel for the .22LR by Kidd Innovative Design. This Ultra Lightweight Fluted Bull Barrel weighs just over a pound and yet is a great shooter! KIDD has seen a niche in their barrel market for a much lighter weight barrel and believe their customers will benefit from our durable steel barrel anchored by a stainless-steel breech and stainless-steel muzzle design. As with all our barrels the bore is hand lapped here at KIDD. This will be great for people who don't want to tote around a heavy rifle but still want a high-quality product. At 1.25 pounds and 16 1/4 inches in length this is their lightest rifle barrel. KIDD product testing has resulted in 1/2"" groups at 50 yards. Though, they don't guarantee this barrel to group at that rate. A threaded muzzle is an option on the barrel and their threading is 1/2""-28 and is available with a protective cap. KIDD recommend using an anti-seize compound to assist in installation. Anti-seize is readily available at automotive stores. It is best if you can get the barrel tenon started into the receiver mortise, then turn it over and tap the back of the receiver with a rubber mallet. Be sure to line the extractor slot up as you are installing the barrel. Your barrel is ready to shoot, just run two magazines through it before you really start looking at group size. Do this each time you change brands of ammunition as well. Keep the chamber clean, but don't clean the bore too much you will decrease accuracy. Depending on the ammo, clean the bore around every 500 rounds.

Voici un autre excellent canon de rechange pour le .22LR par Kidd Innovative Design. Ce Ultra Lightweight Fluted Bull Barrel pèse un peu plus d'une livre et pourtant, c'est un véritable tireur!
KIDD a identifié un besoin sur le marché des canons pour un canon beaucoup plus léger et croit que ses clients tireront parti de notre canon en acier durable, ancré par une culasse en acier inoxydable et un design de bouche en acier inoxydable. Comme pour tous nos canons, le alésage est poli à la main ici chez KIDD.
Ce canon est parfait pour ceux qui ne veulent pas porter un fusil lourd tout en recherchant un produit de haute qualité. Avec un poids de 1,25 livres et une longueur de 16 1/4 pouces, c'est leur canon de fusil le plus léger.
Les tests de produits KIDD ont abouti à des groupes de 1/2" à 50 yards, bien qu'ils ne garantissent pas que ce canon regroupera à ce taux.

Installation du canon :
Selon ton récepteur, si de la peinture s'est accumulée dans le mortaise du récepteur, assure-toi de l'enlever. KIDD recommande d'utiliser un composé anti-grippage pour faciliter l'installation. L'anti-grippage est facilement disponible dans les magasins automobiles.
Il est préférable que tu puisses commencer à insérer le tenon du canon dans le mortaise du récepteur, puis de le retourner et de taper à l'arrière du récepteur avec un maillet en caoutchouc. Assure-toi d'aligner la fente de l'extracteur pendant que tu installes le canon.
Ton canon est prêt à tirer, il suffit de faire passer deux chargeurs avant de commencer à vraiment observer la taille des groupes. Fais cela chaque fois que tu changes de marque de munitions également. Garde la chambre propre, mais ne nettoie pas trop le alésage, cela pourrait diminuer la précision. Selon les munitions, nettoie le alésage environ tous les 500 coups.
