The AFTERBURNER™ compensator is machined from hardened stainless steel and the RAMJET™ barrel from hardened 416R SS; both are enhanced with a Radianite™ coating. This combination achieves low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance, making overall durability and erosion from muzzle blast a non-issue. Angled front faces on the AFTERBURNER aid in holstering. The INTRA-LOK® mounting system uses the taper lock principle; a tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel. This perfectly times the compensator as it locks down onto the upper barrel profile on the muzzle end of the barrel. INTRA-LOK® allows the user to simply slide the compensator over the barrel, insert and tighten the locking screw, making for a simple and repeatable installation process. This system allows the user to easily remove the barrel from the slide for cleaning. Il compensatore AFTERBURNER™ è lavorato in acciaio inossidabile temprato e la canna RAMJET™ è realizzata in acciaio 416R SS temprato; entrambi sono migliorati con un rivestimento Radianite™. Questa combinazione raggiunge un basso attrito, alta durezza e alta resistenza alla corrosione, rendendo la durabilità complessiva e l'erosione causata dal colpo alla bocca un non problema.

Il sistema di montaggio INTRA-LOK® utilizza il principio del bloccaggio conico; una vite di bloccaggio conica si interfaccia con una V-groove angolata sulla parte inferiore della canna. Questo sincronizza perfettamente il compensatore mentre si blocca sul profilo superiore della canna all'estremità della bocca.
INTRA-LOK® consente all'utente di semplicemente far scivolare il compensatore sulla canna, inserire e stringere la vite di bloccaggio, rendendo il processo di installazione semplice e ripetibile. Questo sistema consente all'utente di rimuovere facilmente la canna dallo scorrimento per la pulizia.
