Oversized With Extra-Thick Foam Interior For Superior Comfort; Made In The U.S.A.

Fold-up shooting mat with thick foam padding provides maximum protection from rough ground, so you can sit or lay prone for hours in any shooting environment. A rugged 1000 denier Cordura® exterior with a waterproof polyurethane coating blocks out moisture and cold to help keep you dry and comfortable. Oversized, 79" length accommodates even the tallest shooters. Four panel design allows you to stow your firearm inside the folded mat during carry in the field. Large handles and retaining straps constructed of 2" wide webbing with hook-and-loop fasteners keep everything contained and mobile. Built-in, 1" high foam lip at the front of the mat provides a stop to prevent forward bipod movement for fast follow-up shots.

SPECS: Exterior - 1000 denier Cordura nylon, polyurethane coated, Coyote Brown. Interior - -20°F rated foam. Opened Size - 79” (201cm) long, 36” (91cm) wide, 3⁄8" (1cm) thick. Folded Size – 20” (51cm) long, 36” wide, 2” (5.1cm) thick.

pricey but the build quality reflects it (30.04.2011)

ive used the crosstac mat for the past six months in range and training environments. ive shot prone and seated on it on both grass and concrete. it has enough cushion to make it comfortable yet has enough firmness to provide a stable platform. i shot an applessed meet recently and the quality of this mat was very apparent compared to the other 30 or so mats on the line. it doesnt roll and there are no hot spots caused by black textured sections like other brands. stitching and build quality are first rate. 4 instead of 5 starz becuz of the price but its high quality and made in the usa .

Used this mat for about 6 months. Like the way it folds up, it's portable and easy to store and set up. Far better than a roll. Lays flat and will not shift around on the ground when getting up and down. Has a front lip to help with tripods if you have a need for it. Nothing fancy like pockets and other gizomos, but that is a plus as I didn't want all that. Well constructed cover and has a nice cushion. Fits the bill very well for mid priced well constructed shooting mat. Made in the USA so price is a mute point with me. Well worth the money and I am very pleased with it. Highly recomend it for the average shooter.
