Fills The Opening In Glock Frame For Smoother Reloading

Plastic plug installs in the bottom rear cavity of the frame to fill the opening found in Glock® pistols. Front “lip” forms a tight, flush bond with the mag well to help make sure the mag goes where it should, smoothly. Keeps dirt and debris from finding its way inside the pistol and gives a clean, smooth look. Uses the lanyard hole for retention to snap firmly into place. Glock® Plus Zero fits Models 17 through 25, 31, 32, 34, 35, 37, and 38. Gen 4 Grip Frame Inserts allow for use of the factory interchangeable backstraps. Gen 4 Full & Mid model fits Generation 4 Glock® models 17/18/19/22/23/24/25/31/32/34/35/37/38. Gen 4 Subcompact model fits Generation 4 Glock® models 26/27/33/39. Other inserts fit the Glock® models indicated in the price lines below. Does not add extra rounds.

A Good Purchase (08.04.2015)

Given its low price, I'd recommend this insert to anyone who wants to plug that cavity (which likely is more of an aesthetic decision than a practical or tactical one) and still be able to employ the back straps. I use the large back strap along with this Pearce insert in my 17, and I'm very pleased with the overall results.

Best Grip Plug for you Gen 4 Glock (19.12.2016)

I have looked at different plugs for my Gen 4 Glock. This one is all in one. Meaning you can use different size grips. Most of the grips I have looked at you need to decide, small, medium or large. The Pearce Grip Plug is easy to install, looks good, one piece, and you can use it for all of the grips. Best plug for your buck.

Slips in easy yet firm. Completes the look of the frame. No idea why Glock didnt do this in the first place!

The only way to secure it in the grip of my 20sf would be super glue or a screw. There is no nub on the plug to click into the grip hole...so non secured it will just fall out. Poor product design.

G21SF plug falls out (12.09.2015)

The idea is good but . . .

This looked good and tight when installed but fell out on the third shot fired. reinserting it lasted only one more shot making this useless. The ones I've installed in my 19 and 26 work as advertised. However, without gluing as stated in the other review, it will not stay in the gun. That is just not acceptable.

Not sure why some people are having issues with fitment or why this has a bad review rating. I have a Gen 3 Glock 21 SF and this insert fits nice and snug.

EASY to install and works as advertised, keeping dust, lint and debris out. Only down side would be that it prevents use of the lanyard hole, if you happen to need that...

Different from Picture (30.06.2011)

This specific one that's made for subcompact glock is friction fit, which means there's no tab to hold it in place like the one shown in the picture. (since there's no lanyard hole to begin with on this model of glock.) Further more, since it's friction fit, after a few shoots fired, it begins to slip out of it's socket. It's a unnecessary distraction especially in self defense situation. Product not recommended.

Insert for G-26 does not stay put. (29.12.2015)

I agree with the other 1 star comment that this insert does not stay in place for the subcompacts. I've lost a couple at the range and the last one bought only took five shots to come lose and drop off. I've reinstalled it with a few dabs of medium strength locktite and, maybe this will help keep it in place and still be removable when needed. We'll see.
