Like all our Brownells Retro A1 barrels, the 10.3" model is machined from hardened 4150 steel, then MPI inspected to detect hidden flaws (so we can pull it from the supply chain BEFORE it leaves the factory) and given a hard black phosphate finish. It’s chambered for the modern 5.56 NATO cartridge, with speedy 1-7" rifling in the nitride bore, so the 10.3" A1 Retro barrel plays nicely with current-production ammo. Le modèle de 10,3" est le plus court de notre assemblage de canon AR-15 de profil A1. Il correspond aux contours extérieurs des canons de carabine utilisés des années 1960 aux années 2000, prêt à ajouter une touche d'authenticité à ta prochaine construction. Ou installe-en un pour économiser du poids sur un AR-15 SBR léger, PDW ou pistolet – en suivant bien sûr toutes les règles NFA !
Comme tous nos canons Brownells Retro A1, le modèle de 10,3" est usiné en acier 4150 durci, puis inspecté par MPI pour détecter les défauts cachés (afin que nous puissions le retirer de la chaîne d'approvisionnement AVANT qu'il ne quitte l'usine) et reçoit une finition noire en phosphate dur. Il est chambré pour la cartouche moderne 5,56 NATO, avec un rayonnement rapide de 1-7" dans le canon nitruré, ce qui fait que le canon A1 Retro de 10,3" fonctionne bien avec les munitions de production actuelle.

À l'avant, le canon Retro A1 de 10,3" a des filetages de bouche de ½-28", prêts à accepter un "rétro" flash suppressor ou un dispositif de bouche moderne / silencieux. À l'autre extrémité, une extension de canon standard est déjà installée. Également installé : un bloc de gaz / base de visée de .625" (marqué F) avec un ergot de baïonnette, un poteau de visée, un détendeur, un ressort, un swivel de sangle, un anneau Delta, un écrou de canon, un ressort de soudure, un anneau de snap et un capuchon de garde-main rond.
Le canon Brownells A1 Carbine est conçu pour être le composant idéal de toute reproduction de fusil XM177 ou de toute construction AR légère, équipé de la plupart des matériaux nécessaires pour compléter une construction rétro.
