Le BRN AR-15/M16A1 RETRO CARBINE 5.56MM 11.5" 1-7 BBL ASSEMBLY de BROWNELLS est la version la plus courte de notre ensemble de canon AR-15 profil A1, mesurant 10.3". Comme tous nos canons rétro A1 de Brownells, le modèle 10.3" est usiné en acier 4150 durci, puis inspecté par MPI pour détecter les défauts cachés (afin que nous puissions le retirer de la chaîne d'approvisionnement avant qu'il ne quitte l'usine) et revêtu d'une finition phosphate noire résistante.

À l'avant, le canon rétro A1 de 10.3" possède des filetages de bouche de ½-28", prêts à accueillir un « rétro » suppresseur de flash ou un dispositif de bouche moderne / suppresseur de son. À l'autre extrémité, une extension de canon standard est déjà installée. Également installé : une base de bloc de gaz / vise avant de 625" (marquée F) avec un ergot de baïonnette, un poste de visée, un détrompeur, un ressort, un crochet de sangle, un anneau Delta, un écrou de canon, un ressort de soudure, un anneau de snap et un capuchon de garde-main rond.
La carabine AR-15 est âgée de plus d'un demi-siècle, et le fusil et les plateformes ultérieures ont subi une grande évolution. Maintenant, les passionnés du système peuvent construire des reproductions des premiers fusils avec l'ensemble de canon de carabine A1 de Brownells. Ce dernier est conçu pour être le composant idéal de toute reproduction de fusil XM177 ou de toute construction AR légère, équipé de la plupart des matériaux nécessaires pour compléter une construction rétro.
